I made the display using an old window and screen.
I wanted a nice large way to showcase earrings and I love to use architectural details whenever possible.
Here are the instructions:
Find an old window with glass or without either will work.
Use a wire brush to clean off any old paint chips.
Paint the wood trim any color you would like. I used a green wash.
Use pet screen over regular screen since the earrings can easily go in and out.
Pet screen can be found in any hardware screen.
Staple the screen around the inside window frame.
I used nautical rope to hang. I attached the rope with 2 nails in the back.
